AM Best, the premier rater of insurance companies in the world, published their list of the Top U.S. Property & Casualty Insurance Companies this week. I was pleased to see that the Yennie & Jones Insurance Agency has direct contracts with 12 of the Top 50 insurance companies or groups listed. This is no small feat for an agency when you consider that many of the companies listed only sell through their own network of 'captive' agents. Another amazing thing about this list of 12 is that it only represents 10% of the insurance companies we currently have our clients' protection placed with and is only a small fraction of the companies available to us as independent agents.
